Volkswagen to Make Six Models in Russia

KALUGA, August 27. /FIS/. This is stated in the materials of Volkswagen Rus Ltd. conducting the construction of the German concern's plant in the Kaluga region. In October 2007, the plant's capacity will be put online to make Skoda Octavia, in November 2007 - Volkswagen Jetta and Passat, in December 2007 - Skoda Fabia, in March 2008 - Volkswagen Tiguan. The startup of assembling of Volkswagen Polo is scheduled for February 2009.
