locked key in ignition

hi everyone. I have a big problem and I need HELP ASAP. My problem is that I locked my car with the key still in the ignition. Thought it was no big deal since I had the remote for locking and unlocking the car in my pocket. To my dismay, when I tried to use it nothing was happening. My car is still locked and I need to open it soonest. Please someone help me. The car is a 97 toyota ipsum.
