ReviewCars.com announced that Toyota Camry won the award by beating two hot contenders in a highly competitive category. 2007 Ford Mustang and 2007 Saturn Aura came very close, but in the end it was the consumers' Overall ranking that sealed the deal.

Toyota and Ford each have two vehicles in the Top 10 list. Ford continues on with the tradition of building affordable muscle cars, and Shelby succeeded in reigniting the passion that the Ford brand used to elicit. Toyota, on the other hand, couples Toyota Camry with Toyota Prius, which is a laudable effort on the high tech side. Toyota Prius became synonymous with fuel efficiency, and it leads the hybrid culture well into the 21st century.
