toyota ipsum 1998 jerking when stopping,drags to gain momentum on taking off (with sudden acceleration),serious jerking/cutting power when air con is engaged or reversing.pliz help

are the breaks close to being changed or have you had them changed recently. i have a 2003 and i found that was the problem they needed changing. I'm trying to find shock absorber for mine if you know any site or garage that will have let me know.
