Arrow XBLA Welcomes Toyota Yaris and Puzzle Quest

XBLA Welcomes Toyota Yaris and Puzzle Quest

Starting October 10, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. GMT (2:00 a.m. PDT), both games will invade Microsoft??™s Xbox Live Arcade, but Puzzle Quest will cost Xbox 360 owners 1200 MS points.

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords is (as the title suggests) a classic puzzle game, initially developed for portable platforms like the PSP and the DS, and later ported even on the PC. Now, the game also finds its way onto the Xbox platform, with minor tweaks and enhancements that should make the gaming experience more fun. Besides the content already known from other platforms, Puzzle Quest now offers support for HD screens, Live features like Achievements, leaderboards and Gamerscore, plus a few new gameplay elements here and there specially crafted for the XBLA. Combining traits from a classic puzzle game with portions from the RPG and strategy genres, Infinite Interactive??™s Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords will surely be a delight for all categories of gamers.

Soon after Sony??™s announcement concerning the creation of an in-game advertising division, Microsoft released ???Yaris??? a game freely available for download in which players get behind the wheel of a Toyota Yaris and start their crazy enemy-destroying, obstacle-avoiding race.

Players will enjoy customization options and an arsenal of weapons while they attack enemies and advance to the next level. ???Yaris??? features online multiplayer over Xbox LIVE, allowing gamers to challenge each other for the best time and score. Developed by Backbone Entertainment, ???Yaris??? is the first free brand-supported game on Xbox LIVE Arcade and is available for download in the U.S. and Canada for one full year.
