Arrow TomTom enters Toyota Yaris' dashboard

TomTom enters Toyota Yaris' dashboard

TomTom this week at the IAA auto show in Frankfurt Germany, announced that the latest Toyota Yaris will come with the option to include a TomTom portable navigation device as part of the Yaris' built-in radio system. This product is based on the solution developed between TomTom and Fujitsu Ten, the Eclipse AVN 2210p, a double DIN aftermarket console that includes a detachable TomTom Go unit.

Bringing our extensive navigation experience and insight into the automotive industry is an integral part of our long term business strategy said Harold Goddijn, TomTom's CEO.

No price has been indicated yet for this optional feature in the Yaris, but the AVN 2210p - which initial price was US$849 - currently retails for US$499 on the website of the US retailer Circuit City.
