Man detained in connection with stolen Toyota Corolla motor car
RJR News has been informed that police detectives from St. Thomas are questioning the man's alleged links to the stolen 2003 Toyota Corolla motor car.
Sunday the Yallahs police detained the policeman after he was allegedly caught driving the stolen car. A police source revealed Monday afternoon that the man held on Monday is believed to have engineered the sale of the motor vehicle to the policeman. The vehicle was reportedly sold for one million dollars. A senior policeman assigned to the St. Thomas CIB told RJR News that investigators have not completed their questioning of both men. Neither has been charged. The investigator says a statement is expected to be issued by the Communications Director with the Jamaica Constabulary Force, Karl Angell.
