NASCAR - Craftsman Truck - Toyota Tundra Milwaukee 200 Preview
 

After failing to win in his first 59 truck races, Johnny Benson won for the second straight race, capturing the 2006 Toyota Tundra Milwaukee 200 at the historic Milwaukee Mile. The No.23 Toyota driver crossed the finish line well ahead of runner-up Mike Bliss. The victory was the second of Benson's 61- race truck career. Pole sitter Ron Hornaday Jr. led four times for 102 laps and finished third.

In 2005, Dennis Setzer lapped all but three cars en route to a dominating victory, as he recorded his 14th Craftsman Truck title. Setzer, who crossed the finish line 3.993 seconds ahead of Jack Sprague, led for 152 of the 200 laps. Sprague, the pole sitter, led for the first 43. The win was Setzer's second of the 2005 season and second straight in front of a crowd of 26,571. With the win, Setzer set a new race record of 109.907 m.p.h.

The Milwaukee Mile has produced just one rookie winner in 11 previous races. Kurt Busch's 2000 victory was the first of four in his record-setting freshman season.

The next race in the Craftsman Truck Series championship, the O'Reilly 200 at Memphis Motorsports Park on June 30th, as Jack Sprague defends his title.
