AWDave is on a distinguished road
Default Brz

This new Soob/Toyo is about to be released in Australia!
After watching a promo video of Brz vs Mustang v6, Ive got 2 comments:

Why was this car not built on an AWD platform - switchable to rear only drive, for those who like to "hang the tail out". Subarus reputation in Australia has been built on the safety and sur-footedness of all wheel drive,
why change this?

Though all aspects of driving the new BRZ were surely praised, the fact was it was slow! Being a second slower than the V6 Stang on track and in the quarter mile aint good enough. eg The WRX has always held its own against similar rivals, from it's earliest release

To sum up - Subaru performance and styling has been going backwards ever since the 99 wrx sti! The BRZ in stock trim, will do nothing to enhance this image!
I could be wrong, though I can see the Toyota 86gts outselling the Soob version, for price and suitability for the typical Toyota/Celica admirer!
