Future opportunities for Renault Kerax and mit

Future Environmental Services has chosen the Renault Kerax chassis as the base for two new BIG BITE XPR tankers, supplied by MiT (Milner Industrial Transport Ltd). The new BIG BITE XPR, 3000 gallon recycling jet vac combination tankers have been fitted to the 6x4 Renault Kerax 410.26 chassis, supplied by Renault Trucks distributor, Staffordshire CV. They are the first Renault trucks to join Future Environmental Services???‚¬?„? fleet and will be used on drainage operations throughout the Glasgow and Preston areas.

Stephen Bruce, Managing Director, Future Environmental, comments: ???‚¬?“After close consultation with Chris Milner, Managing Director of MiT, we summarised the many different chassis options available to us. The Renault Kerax stood out from the rest, both on specification and price. MiT uses a special NASA designed, high powered PTO providing 2,000 Newton metres of torque at a ratio of 0.98. This is vital torque increase that gives us that extra punch when it???‚¬?„?s needed. Also, the BIG BITE XPR is able to switch between use as a standard jet vac and a combination tanker or recycler via a touch screen remote control panel. The Renault Kerax is proving to be the ideal support for this advanced technology???‚¬

Following the success of the Renault Kerax BIG BITE tankers, Future Environmental has also ordered two 6.5 tonne MICRO BITE XP medium volume jet vac combination tankers based on the Renault Mascott 6.5 tonne chassis for delivery this month.

???‚¬?“Future Environmental has a range of clients including major water and utility companies, local authorities, government agencies, civil engineers and consultants,???‚¬ continues Stephen Bruce. ???‚¬?“We have to keep up with new technology coming into the Waste Management market and I???‚¬?„?m very impressed with both the Renault Trucks and MiT packages.???‚¬

Based in Staffordshire, MiT (Milner Industrial Transport Ltd.) is the UK supplier for Europe???‚¬?„?s leading sewage cleaning equipment manufacturer, Rivard, specialising in the design and build of vacuum tankers and high powered water jetting combination units for the transportation of wet waste materials and cleansing all types of drain and sewer systems. The company offers a range of advanced machinery from the 6.5 tonne MICRO BITE XPjet vac combination tankers through to 32 tonne BIG BITE XPR recyclers and ADR ATEX machinery. With over 10,000 vehicles sold, throughout the world, their product range supports all liquid waste management sectors. The company specialises in working with contractors and public authorities in three main markets, Industrial, Civil Engineering and Environmental.
