Nissan Canada Inc. March Sales Results

MISSISSAUGA, ON, April 3 /CNW/ - Nissan Canada Inc. (NCI) released its sales figures for March, 2007 today. The total sales figure for both Nissan and Infiniti brands was 8,142 units, an increase of 1,709 units (26.6%) over March, 2006. The Nissan brand accounted for 7,412 units, an increase of 1,636 units year-over-year. The Infiniti brand accounted for 730 units, an increase of 73 units year-over-year. Sales this month were led by the Nissan Versa with 2,201 units. Altima had another strong month with 1,708 units sold. The all-new Infiniti G Sedan had a solid month with 485 units sold, an increase of 98% over March, 2006.

NISSAN RECORD HIGHLIGHTS ------------------------ - Versa (sedan and hatch) led all models with 2,201 units sold. - Altima sales were 1,708, an increase of 2.5%. - Quest sales were up 99% over March, 2006 with 209 units sold.

INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS ------------------- - Total Infiniti brand sales were 730, an increase of 11.1% over March, 2006. - The G sedan led Infiniti with 485 units sold.

NCI HIGHLIGHTS -------------- - NCI sold 8,142 Nissan and Infiniti vehicles combined this month.
