Kiss Films shoots high tempo commercial for Nissan Micra

Kiss films, together with Condor Cape Town created a ???City of Lights??? through which the girls travel.

???We needed to think out the box and experiment extensively in order to capture Jason??™s vision of the look and feel of the commercial,??? says Kiss Producer, Warren Meltz. ???In the end we used giant LED screens normally used for outdoor concerts as well as other specialised lighting to create the desired reflections and backgrounds on close up shots of the girls while Condor Cape Town did a truly outstanding job on getting the perfect look on the wide shots and the CG city.???

Jason Fialkov found the challenges and experience of shooting the commercial to be one of his most enjoyable. ???It??™s been a while since I??™ve had the feeling of being the proverbial 'Kid in the candy store', but this was undoubtedly what the experience of working with the commercial??™s lighting and effects requirements was like.???

Commenting on the final result, Damon Stapleton Executive Creative Director at TBWA Johannesburg said the following: ???I think it??™s a very elegant way of resolving a complicated commercial. What it proves is that you can make it look slick if you do a lot of thinking up front.???

The commercial is currently flighting on all channels.
