hyper cvt trouble

Hi all, am new to the forum and hope I could get some help.
I have a 2000 Nissan Sunny B15 equipped with the NEO Di 1769cc direct injection engine (QG18DD) and Hyper CVT. I love this car but recently the check engine light came on and the car was stuck in low gear. I noticed that after parking for about a half hour or more, the CEL does not come on and the gearing is back to normal. However after driving for a long while, and especially in slow traffic, the malfunction manifests again. On diagnosis with a hand-held tester at my mechanic's place, the following codes were reported: P1715 and P1720. There's not much info I've been able to glean about these DTCs (specific to the CVT). Any help I could obtain would be much appreciated. Thanks.
