Nissan Sunny ?1998?

I bought an used Nissan Sunny.
The salesman told to me and also according the documents of the car, it is a model of the 1998.
But I think the car is older.
The tag that usually is in the base of the safety belt, where is typed the manufacturing date, was extracted.
Do some one know where in the internet I can search the year of manufacturing of my car introducing (for exmaple) the chassis number or another data of the car in a database?

Diego, hi. I just bought a Nissan Sunny Super Saloon 1998 here in Paraguay where I live. It came from Japan through Iquique;Chile to Paraguay where they changed the steering to the left side..Anyway I am looking for the maintenence manual since the original is in Japanese. The car is in excellent condition with only 41000 kms. In my search for any numbers to help my search for a manual I found the chasis number on a metal plate that is attached to the firewall between the engine compartment and the inside. I found my number plus the year is there also. I hope this helps you.
