DaimlerChrysler's Mitsubishi Fuso to extend service hours, boost ...

FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp said it will start servicing trucks in the evenings and on weekends and will add mobile service vehicles to gain more customers.

The company, which is 85 pct-owned by DaimlerChrysler AG (nyse: DCX - news - people ), will also increase by 70 pct the number of service staff holding the highest available technical certification.

The measures will take effect this year, Kawasaki, Japan-based Mitsubishi (other-otc: MSBHY.PK - news - people ) Fuso said.
