Mazda special editions: 3, 5, 6, RX-8 and MX-5

Mazda is releasing a series of special edition models this spring. The Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 Katano models, based on five-door TS spec, add touchscreen satellite navigation with Europe-wide mapping, traffic reports and congestion warnings. The Mazda 3 1.6 Katano has 15" alloy wheels, chrome exhaust and silver or black mica paint; it costs from ??12,995.

The 2.0-litre Mazda 6 Katano comes in silver or black mica paint and has a rear spoiler, twin chrome exhausts and 16" five-spoke alloys; it costs from ??14,995.

Mazda 5 Furano models have Sport spec (17" alloys, CD player) plus bodykit with new front bumper, side skirts, rear skirts, rear spoiler and clear-lensed tail lights; there's a choice of silver metallic, grey mica or blue mica paint and prices start from ??18,595. Take your pick from the 145bhp petrol or 143bhp diesel engines, the latter with six-speed manual transmission; options include black leather upholstery (??1,000).

MX-5 ZSport roadsters cost from ??19,995; they have the 2.0i engine and six-speed gearbox, 17" BBS multi-spoke alloys, a chrome front grille surround, chrome exterior trim, ebony mica paint, leather upholstery, brushed aluminium and chrome interior trim, climate control and alloy pedals.

RX-8 Kuro coupes, with the 231bhp high-output rotary engine and six-speed gearbox, also come with black mica paint, with 18" dark silver alloys, stainless steel scuff plates with etched serial number, leather upholstery and special badging. Prices start from ??23,995.
