Angry MAZDA 4x4 Proceed/Marvie

Hi all.........can anyone tell me what the switch "RFW" stands for and what exactly it's supposed to do. It comes on automatically when engaging 4x4 (hi or low) but must be manually switched off when going back to 2WD. Im having trouble backing a 20' boat and trailer up a drive (shuddering and generally struggling to do the job)....when it should be a piece of cake. Im wondering if it's automatically going into a "diff-lock" type mode. On the tarseal the inside wheels are also loosing traction on just a very moderate turn?? http://www.cars-directory.net/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif

Any suggestions?

cheers
