New Mazda Roadster Prestige Edition Released In Japan

( Worldcarfans ) - Mazda has officially launched their new, special edition Mazda Roadster Prestige Edition for the Japanese market. The Roadster, a.k.a. MX-5, with a 2.0L DOHC, has been tricked out with black all-leather seats. The bucket seats will also be heated, so your butt stays nice and toasty during the chilly season.

The new trim, spawns from the RS RHT and the VS RHT, the two current models with retractable hard tops. Also featured in the Prestige Edition are BBS 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, stainless steel scuff plates, and front fog lights. A driver??™s side seat lifter (ratchet lever) is also included.

With the six-speed automatic option comes a front strut tower bar hooking up to the car??™s cowl (already included with manual transmissions), as well as Mazda??™s Dynamic Stability Control. DSC is a factory-installed option on the manual transmission model. The made-to-order Mazda Roadster Prestige Edition has a MSRP (including consumption tax) of ?2,950,000 ($25,600) for the six-speed manual, and ?3,050,000 ($26,500) for the automatic transmission.
