New Honda Civic unveiled in KB

Over 100 Honda owners in the Belait District gathered at the Honda showroom in Kampong Pandan yesterday to witness the launch of brand new 2.0-litre DOHC I-VTEC Honda Civic Type R, exclusively built at a Honda factory in Swindon, United Kingdom.

Happy Motoring Co manager Loh Kok Sin said the aim of the launch was to showcase the latest Honda models to the people of Belait.

Born out of the Honda Civic design, the Civic Type R has taken a radical design with a 2.0-litre DOHC I-VTEC engine to improve responsiveness using a new balancer shaft and drive-by-wire throttle control.

The new ride is available in three colours: milano red, alabaster silver metallic, and nighthawk black pearl.

It retails at $51,990.
