Arrow Element SC gets power upgrade

The Honda Element began four years ago as a funky truck for young lovers of the outdoors, and was designed specifically to appeal to well-heeled beach bums and snow bunnies with all the toys.

Now, we have the SC version, intended to convey urban cool, with less of a stripped-down look externally and internally. The styling has subtly changed, giving it a more bulked-up appearance and lowered stance.

The most obvious changes are the upgrades found inside - the SC features a carpeted floor in the first and second rows. The black urethane utility floor is retained in the cargo area. The interior features sophisticated piano-black trim and classier fabrics throughout than those found in the basic Element.
