New Ford Ranger now in Brunei
 

With the introduction of Ford's latest in the American Tough Truck series to the Thailand market, and thus the rest of Asia, Ford is confident about continuing its success in the one-tonne pickup segment with the new Ranger pickup. The all-new Ford Ranger aims to set a new standard in the industry with its engine performance, fuel economy, passenger comfort, safety features, excellent drivability, towing capacity and affordability.

After making its debut in Thailand at the Bangkok International Motor Show, the Ford Ranger will soon be seen on the roads of Brunei, with its launch due to take place this coming Friday at Ford dealer Premier Automobile's showroom.

Prior to this public launching, Premier Automobile held a press launch to showcase the tougher and more muscular Ford Ranger yesterday, giving several local media representatives the opportunity to get closer to the new Ranger.

Present at the press launch was Premier Automobile's director, Teng Chee Khiong, Sales Manager Teng Chee How, and Marketing Executive Adeline Ho, who were on hand to brief members of the media.

The all-new Ford Ranger comes in two specifications, with the High 2.5L WLT Turbo diesel engines priced at B$38,000, and the Low 2.5L diesel engines priced at B$31,000, both employing manual transmissions.

In addition to it being tougher, more powerful and more capable with its world-class performance, this new model with its "Built Ford Tough" promise is set to grab everyone's attention, particularly those of 4WD enthusiasts.
