VeraSun Energy and Ford Partner to Test Flexible Fuel Escape Hybrid

VeraSun Energy Corporation , one of the nation's largest ethanol producers, today announced that as part of its continuing partnership with Ford Motor Co. , the company took possession of one of the first hybrid flexible fuel vehicles, or FFVs, ever produced. VeraSun will test the new Ford Escape Hybrid FFV for a two-year period to demonstrate the benefit of converging flexible fuel and hybrid technologies.
