BMW to boost production at US factory

SINGAPORE (AP) - Triple A says the national average for regular unleaded gasoline has moved to a fresh record of $$3.10 a gallon. Oil prices are steady as traders weigh expectations of rising US crude and gasoline supplies. Light, sweet crude for June delivery fell 4 cents to $$63.13 a barrel in Asian electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Data is due in the session ahead on April housing starts, seen easing. The Federal Reserve also weighs in with industrial production, expected to show an increase.

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo has reportedly filed a lawsuit against computer maker Dell. The Wall Street Journal reports that he's accusing the company and its financial services affiliate of deceiving customers to increase sales.

TOKYO (AP) - Sony's loss in the latest quarter widened from a year ago on the huge costs for the PlayStation 3 game console. Sony says profit for the current year should more than double on strong sales of flat TVs and other electronics.
