The BMW 5-Series Touring, like the latest Saloon models before it, benefits from a general upgrading of small but significant changes BMW say, especially to the quality and design of the of the interior.

In the engine, transmission and other technical areas Efficient Dynamics have been introduced all adding up to major saving on fuel and emissions costs but at a price - between a 2.5 and 4.5 per cent increase in retail prices.

Still at least the pleasure of driving is retained.
