Shanghai - April 21, 2007: BMW Group unveiled the new BMW Concept CS during its press conference at the Auto Shanghai 2007. Dr. Norbert Reithofer, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG, announced that the 2008 goal of delivering 1.4 million vehicles for all BMW??™s brands (BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce) will be reached a year in advance, in 2007.

BMW plans to increase the retail volume in Asia to 150,000 vehicles by next year. China is a very important market with a retail volume in the first quarter 2007 amounting to more than 10,100 vehicles, 34.2% more than the first quarter of last year. Over the last five years, the BMW brand alone has risen by more than 750 percent in Chinese Mainland.
