Defective Unit Of Strada 2010

| General comments: | Strada only looks grand on it`s outside appearance but it`s performance is awful and lacks all the credits others are saying... i cannot trust this car since my brother who just bought a brand new unit almost die w/ his family !!! |
| What things have gone wrong with the car: | Since it was released by the Mitsubishi car dealer for my brother`s use, it cannot accelerate for more than 100km/h, it`s brand new but it`s cyl head was already replaced by service center for unknown reason,then soon after that replacement, while my brother is trying to park it in their garage,Strada suddenly stalled and started to accelerate uncontrollably (went beserk) and even the key was already switched off and pulled out, it continued to run emitting very black smoke w/c penetrated inside the car where his wife and two kids almost died of smoke inhalation!..they also noted during the incident that they heard an abnormal noise (a grinding sound) coming from the engine. After the investigation done by responding Mitsubishi mechanic, they found engine oil contaminated by fuel oil due to loose copper gasket, a defective fuel oil injector and others... For god`s sake, he bought it brand new..!!! so he`s expecting it without any major problem and in good running condition! But due to it`s numerous defects and so many other major problems that almost killed them with his wife and two kids, how can they trust this car anymore???? They talk to the sales manager and to the mechanic and to their dismay, these people are even smiling to them telling them that it is not possible to change their unit with another brand new unit!!!..they can only repair what is defective while it is under guarantee...where is our consumer protection here under the law????... |
