| Dear their is no issue in your vitz , i have vitz 2009 and facing same issue when i purchase this car, i also face a hell irritation in start and visits to different service centers, in pakistan main issue is that mechanics disgusting they cash money and make more hurdles for users, my personal experience is that due to very Low RPM ( accelerator )engine make noise or knocking, so to overcome or reduce knocking issue just push accelerator a bit high then you currently accelerate the problem will resolve in start you feel a bit difficult but with the passage of time you will be use-to. | Dear, I have Vitz 2007 and facing same problem. Actually this is not a problem. Vitz models 2005-2013 have noking voice in low speed or when we accelerate little more. This noice can be resolved with the use of Hi-Octain. Use 40% tank with Hi-Octain. I also visited many Toyota Service workshop for this noice and each person told me to use Hi-Octain with petrol. However engine voice can be slow with the work in salancer. discuss with any salancer mechanic. They install a DHOLKI in salancer to minimize this engin voice. Thanks. |

| AOA, 2005 onwards vitz have this problem. i will advise to use STP fuel injector cleaner in your vitz fuel tank, more so get the electronic diagnostic computer test of your car's engine, it is very common that fuel supply is required to be re-adjusted as fuel quality is very low in Pak as compare to Japan.engine always knoks once fuel quality or quantity is low as per the engine requirement. |

| Ok i wanna ask something... So i have vitz 2008, it makes that knocking voice.. But works completely awesome.. What i wanna ask is i feel my vitz has lost its pick... What should i do??? 2ndly day before yesterday, i drove my car with handbrake on for almost 5 km. what i m worried is that will it or would it already have affected my engine or what?? | Dear brothers! Since the purchasing of a vitz vehicle 1300 cc, I noticed that the vehicle was eventually knocking in low speed especially in upper direction... On the advice of several mechanics i purchased and getting fit a new brand gear in it but despite of fitting new gear the problem is still same... Meanwhile, the vehicle does not knock in S/D function of D gear as well as B gear but it knocks only in D gear without pressing SD button. When the SD button in D gear is pushed the knock stops. Kindly help me what should i do in this case as i hava lost about 30000 unnecessarily without fruitful result. AR Gongaw |

| Salam. I have vitz2006. It was slowed down on high way. Mechanic suggested me to remove its dholki n some costly mud from inside dholki too. After emtying its dholki my car is in good position except some noise problems. It has better pick n fuel exonomy. Do i need to install new dholki or should i drive my car with out dholki. Please suggest anyone. |

| For good pick you need to clean the catalytic converter, sound of engine and average would be more good. I am using KIXX mobil oil Made in korea, it seems great. Knocking is not an issue..most of CVT engine have that by default so don't waste money on it...its better to prefer good quality engine oil, fuel, coolents etc. regards |
