I have the same car.. im getting 14.6 km/h overall but u can get around 20 - 30 km/l on the highway if you set your pedal at an angel.. in that angel you move at a constant speed.. i manage to take it up to 27 easily on a straight road from speeds 60 to 80 km/h... u just have to find that right angel to your accelerator... the consumption on this car is awesome but i dont know if alot of people know about the consumption and the angel of the accelerator thingy.

Well if you understand how Continuous Variable Transmission works then it might be easy to get the optimum fuel consumption. CVT is different then normal transmission that it continuously changes the gears rather than having specific ratio as in normal transmission. It is similar to manual transmission that when you change the gears and having the RPM below 3,000.

Once you are on the move do not push the pedal hard to the floor, try to press it smooth and nicely and Gently, this will allow the engine to run in less RPM and changes the gear to achieve the optimum fuel consumption rate. Pressing the Gas pedal hard to the floor, makes the engine to run at high RPM which increases the fuel consumption.

Avoid too much braking and be patient while Driving.
