Problems:The vehicle seems to take off slowly,and sounds as if it starves fuels on take off.If the fuel pedal is depressed suddenly it take a moment before it responds and sometimes a backfire sound can be heard in the airfilter casing.When suddenly accelarated,during overtaking a knock sound can be heard for a moment then it disappeares.

Get the airflowmeter checked and cleaned or changed. also check on the spark plugs if they are not the original 4-6 pins then change those too

Mass Air Floe sensor is the culprit. Spray it with curb-cleaner you will see the difference.
