| Problems: | Hi, my car have anusual fuel consumptions, i have checked for fuel leakage but there is no any leake, could anyone tell me what the problem can be,since the car does not produce unusual smoke on the exhoust. I will appreciate any help. Regards, Denis. | |

| Hi Denis, I have the same problem with my SR40, the consumption is about 7.9 Km/l . Previously i had IPSUM with the same Engine it consumes me only 85lts of fuel from DSM-SONGEA. (945Km) while the NOAH consumes about 120 liters for the same trip. The reason is the pulling mechanism. The Differential mechanism and the Front Wheel drives are the ones leading to High Fuel Consumption. Probably ones with SR50 (4WD) might be a beat lower. We should opt for Front Wheel vehicles and not running over 3 rev/min |

| I bought NOAH TOWNACE engine 3C-TE ;2184cc diesel.Ifound RPM is about 1000;when starting the car.My mechanicman has check thermostart;throttle points still the problem is the same.I need your advice. |

| i recently bough a Toyota NOAH LITEACE sr40 its got 3S engine 1998cc and the fuel consuption is realy high it gives me 8km per liter. I mean this is a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine and the consuption is almost equal to 4.4 liter v8 engine. A 4.4 liter v8 gives 7.2km per liter. Is somethng wrng with my car?becouse i realy try to keep the rev at around 2000rpm(i.e 2 on rpm clock) or mostly below that yet the consuption is at 8km/L |

| Amer throttle being at 1000rpm at a cold start could be normal and as soon as the temperature guage reaches at the middle or at the required engine temperature the rpm should come down to its normal this system is to make sure that ur engine stays at a certain temperature becouse when the engine is cold the cylinders contract and so there is more friction and less engine life by reving up to 1000rpm at cold start it helps heating the engine faster that gets cylinders expanded and less friction within a short time in theory this should also reduce fuel consuption |

| I have a Noah SR50 and am currently getting 6km/ltr of gasoline on town running. Am realizing this is a common problem for most p'ple with Toyota Noah's. is there anybody getting anything close to 10km/hr? Am really Curious. |

| I bought a Townace Noah and it travels so good. I guess to answer all of you, it happens that when you accelerate more, the more fuel consumption becomes high i mean this happens to every car. When you drive with a normal speed, less fuel consumption. Toyota Townace Noah has 4x2 and a Full-Time 4x4, unless someone says something who knows better than i do. This is why there are no 4x4 buttons/Lever and or even a simple diff lock to a 4x2. All I can say is, the less you press an accelerator, the more you are going to same fuel. My only problem is I can see nor feel the fouth gear when it engages, its as if i'm always driving with the 3rd gear. Enjoy your vehicles guys. |

| I've been reading most of the common problems about toyota noah! I have SR 40 Royal Launge-toyota noah! the consumption is weird, i changed the spark plugs twice still same problem, could fuel consumption be the common problem with toyota noahs (despite normal acceleration)!! |

| I have corona premio with 3s FE and townace noah with the same 3s FE engine but their consuption is far different .after a kneen study I found that the rear drive (diff)creates more resistance on drivin as compaired to front wheel drive as a result noar consumes much but also the weight of naohs body seems to be havier and increaseas on tire friction leading to high fuel consumption as compaired to the same engine in nadia and rav 4 sx. |

| i have toyota noah liteace as well, first challenge is the fuel consumption is very high (8km/l) and lastly there is a funny disturbing sound coming from the suspension irregardless of having checked the suspension and changed the shocks, could anyone suggest the cause of the noise. |

| I bought used Toyota Liteace Noah 1998 with Normal Tyre Rims but I decided to change to Sports Rims but since I hv change the rims when the speed reaches 60 the wheel staring starting to shake. my technician tried to fix by measuring wheel alignment and wheel balancing but the problem still exists. Is any one can help to over come this problem? |

| I think the problem of fuel consumption is on all Noah Townace vehicles. My car which I recently got from Japan (good 2nd hand) consumes 7 - 8 KM/L on local routes. I don't know if any has better consumption for a 2.0 Car, however if there's any solution to this, may I be advised. Who knows may be that's why most Japanese are getting rid of these cars. |

| i bought a secondhand toyota liteace van 7k engine 1795cc from Japan.the fuel consumption was 15km per litre.Its start a problem of reving by its self.after 1 month it was back to normal on idling. The fuel consumption is now 10km per litre. I changed every thing. |

| I have SR40 townace noah 1999 its true they run @ 8km/ltr but i have issues with burning oil and getting the correct spark plugs for the 3sfe i believe plugs could be a contributing factor to this fuel consumption ....also any suggestion on how one can damped the rolling noise from the car on highway ...on the other had the car are real realiable and multi purpose cars i would not trade it with the new 2009 noah. |

| I had the same problem with my Townace noah with 3S FE 1998cc but i discoverd the following things 1.The more you accelelate is the more consume fuet 2.How many pansenger and laguage(how heavy)is in the car(the more heavier consume much fuel) 3.Iddleling(leaving your car in silence mode for too long) 4.Geographical makeup of where your going(down slope or climbing upward) eg from dsm to Mbeya it will consume much fuel because Mbeya is highland) 4.Where are you putting you fuei(wich fuel station) You have to choose only one fuelstation with good fuel. 5.The use ofAC and Heater alsal disturb much the fuel consumption. Try looking on those points you'll enjoy your townace Noah. THANKS MUCH |

| I have toyota noah townace My car have started Using more fluel Some time i put a full tank and i use to remove the breathe So when the tank is full some petrol use to pass through breather. I don't know either its the one contributing to the fluel consumption or what, service is update.... |
