hi George, i trust you are okay,
my name is Dennis and i have seen your problem on the net and i am having a similar problem man!

first of all the car started showing me the hold message on the dash board and immediately it showed the message it could not move.
i took it to the mechanic and the diagnosis was gear ratio errors.

eventually after trying to fix the gear ratios by replacing the pressure plates, and the clutches it continued having the same problem. i was later on compelled to buy a new gear box which i did mid last year it worked so awesomely i even took a drive to Meru with my wife on the 12th of Dec2012 and came back to NBO and went n=back again to Meru for Christmas and came back again on the 30th Dec2012.

as we speak right now the car was at the garage for the same problem for the last 4 days!

i have fixed the gear ratio problem and now it is showing the hold message and the check engine message!
in as much as it is showing those 2 messages it is going and shifting gears well.

what am about to do is to change the sensors that underly the gearbox. and hope that all will be well. but immediately it is done i will sell it the next second that ticks on my wrist watch,.

what have you done for your car is it functioning well????????????????????????????
regards.
