acceleration problem 2008

| | Name: | Norlin AHO | | Location: | Brunei Darussalam, Tutong | | Vehicle: | Great WALL Great WALL | | Year: | 2008 | | Problems: | Have driven this car of mine for 2.½ years now i.e. double cab steed wingle, lately for the past 3 to 4 months I had experienced acceleration problem everytime changing gears, especially gear 3,4,5, very slow and heavy and did not pick up any speed until for sometime then it changed after releasing heavy black smoke, sometime this smoke continue all the way. Have went to so many workshops and even the agent's workshop itself, still could not figure out the problem but somehow one mechanic advised me to clean the fuel tank which I did, It happened to be effective and successful however the problem persist after 3 to 4 weeks. I keep on changing the fuel filter, everytime doing it the problem gone but tend to come back after few days and the most 1 or 2 weeks. Obviously the problem source is from the fuel base as I would say but could it be another? say injecter, injecter pump or worse the turbocharge? pls advise, grateful if this could be solved. |
