Daewoo Tico
The Daewoo Tico was a micro car made by Daewoo. It was based on the 1982 Suzuki Alto.
Daewoo started production of the Tico in 1988. The car was equipped with a 3-cylinder S-TEC engine, displaced 796cc, and had a 5-speed gearshift. The Tico was exported to Europe in very limited numbers. In 1998, the Tico was replaced with the Daewoo Matiz.
In the late 90's Daewoo produced Tico in a factory in Romania Europe for about 4 more years. After that it was replaced with a new car called Matiz.
The Tico began its production in order to transport people inside big factories or college“s campus.
