Change engine(diesel to gas)Prado 1991

Can anyone tell me if it is advisable to change a Land Cruiser Prado 1991 with diesel engine to gas engine? Im living where gasoline price is cheap(middle east) and diesel engines are not commonly used. Is this a lot job for the mechanics? What are the pros and cons? Is this diesel engine is noisy when running?
