1978 Super Saloon needs home

i need advice on what to do with my 1978 Super Saloon. It was in perfect condition 8yrs ago when i purchased it from the original owner. it has served me well but we must now part. it has begun to blow smoke when acellerating but apart from that runs quite well. still sits on 100km on frreway with ease. has a bit of rust and a dented rear.
ive been told to take it to a wrecker but i just cant let it get ripped apart when its still drivable (plus im very attached to it). would it be worth putting in the trading post to sell? if so for how much?
