Arrow Priced: 2008 Nissan Sentra, Maxima

Nissan Announces Pricing on 2008 Maxima

Nissan announced pricing on the 2008 Nissan Sentra and Sentra SE-R, which are on sale now at Nissan dealers nationwide.

The 2008 builds on the completely revised, larger, more powerful, more versatile sixth-generation 2007 Sentra, and adds updated packaging and equipment, including the addition of standard Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), cruise control and Vehicle Security System to the Sentra 2.0 S model.

The starting Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the 2008 Nissan Sentra 2.0 with Xtronic CVT is $15,750. The 2008 Sentra 2.0 S is $15,980 with the 6-speed manual transmission and $16,780 with Xtronic CVT. The Sentra 2.0 SL with Xtronic CVT is priced at $18,680. These four models are equipped with a fuel-efficient 140-horsepower 16-valve 2.0-liter DOHC inline 4-cylinder engine.

The Nissan Sentra SE-R is offered in Sentra SE-R and Sentra SE-R Spec V models both featuring sporty styling, enhanced performance and additional standard equipment versus non-SE-R models. The 2008 Sentra SE-R with standard 177-horsepower 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine and Xtronic CVT with paddle shifters has an MSRP of $19,680.

The 2008 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, which features a high-output version of the SE-Rs 2.5-liter engine with top end engine modifications that help it achieve 200 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque and a 6-speed manual transmission, is priced at $20,180. The SE-R Spec V also includes unique suspension tuning, larger diameter brakes and an optional Helical Limited Slip Differential.

For 2008, all Nissan Sentra models include driver-side power window with one-touch auto up/down and safety reverse feature and folding assist grips replace fixed assist grips. Other 2008 enhancements include standard XM Satellite Radio on 2.0 SL models (required XM monthly subscription, sold separately), Spanish interface programming for trip computer, standard daytime illumination on 2.0, 2.0 S and 2.0 SL models, and standard driving/fog lights with body-color surrounds on 2.0 S and 2.0 SL models. The Sentra 2.0 with 6MT model has been discontinued for this model year.
