(RTTNews) - Wednesday, Merc International Minerals Inc. ( MRK.V | charts | news | PowerRating ) reported an agreement to raise up to C$1.40 million through a non-brokered private placement of Units.

The company intends to offer 4 million units for a price of C$0.35 per unit. Each Unit is comprised of one common share and one half common share purchase warrant, the company added.
